La Patisserie is a small French-style tearoom (salón de té) situated just over the road from Plaza 25 de Mayo.
La Patisserie offers a range of pastries and desserts such as cakes, pies, quiches mousse, creme brulée and brioche. They also specialize in French-style crepes made fresh on the crepe stand at the front of the cafe. The crepes cost around 10-22 bolivianos and a range of sweet and savory options are available, including chocolate & strawberry, chocolate & banana, apple & caramel, ham & cheese, etc. La Patisserie also serve up a range of hot drinks including coffees, teas and hot chocolates (note, though, that one of Sucre’s best hot chocolates can be had across the road at Chocolates Para Ti), as well as ice-creams.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, La Patisserie is conveniently located and may be just what you need to satisfy that craving for a bit of France in Sucre.
