A piece of countryside in the city, Hostal CasArte Takubamba is a welcome reprieve for worn out travelers looking to recharge the batteries.
Located 5 minutes from the city centre in the historical part of Sucre, the art-inspired house has been totally restored and upgraded to modern standards. Rooms, both private and shared, feature clean bathrooms, spacious dwellings and comfortable furnishings as well as hot-gas powered showers, free WiFi, towels and a TV.
A complimentary breakfast is served during the morning and guests are welcome to use the guest kitchen (equipped with its very own Andean stone oven!) throughout the day. Also on site is an art gallery displaying works by local artists, a 24 hour reception desk, tv room and a tranquil garden great for relaxing in the sun.
CasArte Takubamba also offer many activities for guests to partake in including painting, Latin guitar, and theatre classes.
Customer service at the hostel is excellent and the friendly staff are always on hand to provide tips and advice on what to do in and around Sucre. An added bonus is that those arriving by bus very early in the morning will be offered a place to rest with staff checking guests in as soon as possible.
Tucked down a safe and quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of Sucre, CasArte Takubamba is a cosy retreat perfect for those who appreciate beautiful art, meeting new friends and who enjoy getting a sound nights sleep.
